Nice Acropolis Welcome,

This web site will be frequently updated and consequently you may have to reload it on a regular basis

  • March 3, 10am,France local time.: Submitted papers have been sent to the Associate Editors on Friday 29. We don't accept anymore request regarding submitted papers
  • February 26, 10am, France local time.: We are currently processing the last minute requests. Authors that have received from us a clarification email must answer by Wednesday 23:59 PST, otherwise their request will not be considered. Note that some authors have claimed that they were unable to submit their paper because of PaperPlaza problems: there was absolutely no problem with PaperPlaza but submitting papers at the very last minute is always risky..
  • February 23, 10am, France local time. Submission site is now closed . We are currently managing the last minute legitimate submission problems (i.e. papers that have been submitted before the deadline). Authors that have sent us an email during the week-end must be patient as we are looking to solve one by one all these problems. Note that requests to add a new paper will not be considered (and answered) if we do not have a trace that shows clearly that it was tried to submit the paper to PaperPlaza before the deadline... Note that the PaperPlaza system was fully operational until the deadline (but over 1/3 of the papers were submitted in the last 9 hours before it...). For your information there was approximatively 1400 submitted papers.

The conference theme is "Robots for the planet", reflecting the growing development of robots use in all aspects of human life and their increasing diversity but also to emphasize the necessity of managing the co-existence of robots and humans within a sustainable development scheme.

Papers are solicited in all related areas in robotics and intelligent systems. Proposals for tutorials and workshops, as well as organized/special sessions are also welcome to address the emerging areas and innovative applications of new technologies. The conference will also feature an industrial exhibition.

Nice is the major town of the French Riviera and is worth to discover in depth: wander at random through the narrow streets of the old town and then stroll along the famous "Promenade" before entering into the heart of the city with its rich architectural and cultural heritage and its parks and gardens.
